First is the drug war. It is a highly controversial and debatable policy but it resulted in more than 1.4 million drug users surrendering. Of the millions who surrendered, some agreed to rehabilitation and more than 300,000 graduated. What is usually highlighted are those who fight against the law agents resulting in their death but more than 285 drug dens had been raided and dismantled. The government actions on the issue of drug has proven to be effective for the most part.

Another one is the MRT project that spans the length of Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City. It is still a long way to see these projects fully materialize but these had already started and would soon make people benefit from them.

One key economic achievement of the current administration is the slowing down of the inflation. In October, the inflation slowed to 0.9%, the lowest so far for this year. This would translate to lower interest rates when borrowing from banks and hopefully lower product prices.

So far the Duterte administration has a lot of projects, achievements and actions that are commendable but of course there is still a lot to tackle such as the traffic crisis in Metro Manila.
